A CONVERSATION WITH THE SHAPESHIFTIES
7:30–8:30 pm: Shapeshifty is an artwork by Amy Suo Wu made in collaboration with Sami Hammana, Karen Huang, Sarafina Paulina Bonita, and Sandim Mendes. It comprises a garment in two modalities, each including a scarf, hat with veil and tags. During the event the collaborators will reflect on the making of the work and their perspectives on the subject of code-switching. Furthermore they will discuss their individual contributions to the piece and their practices. The event will include a performative reading of the garment by Sarafina Paulina Bonita.
