FLOPPY TOTAAL: FLOPPY DISK FEVER
8 – 11 pm: Floppy Totaal, the recurring festival for contemporary floppy disk culture, returns with a two-day program that coincides with the release of their brand new book ‘Floppy Disk Fever’. Floppy Totaal is a Rotterdam based research project that investigates the reuse and repurposing of ‘outdated’ technology as a cultural phenomenon. By examining the contemporary usage of the iconic floppy disk, they assess the way past technology is integrated into our culture today and its future prospectives.
