Het atelier als hof

Gardening is the small-scale cultivation and growing of plants for food or splendour. The site where this happens is called a garden or sometimes a court(yard). The traditional Dutch term is hof. The process of creating an artwork can plausibly be described as gardening. In this exhibition we see works that refer to organic materials: plants, flowers, leaves, branches.
