Live Animation with Ana María Millán
Live Animation with Ana María Millán, invites dancers, movers, and all other interested audience, to join in a collaborative process of real-time animation. Hosted in the dynamic and spontaneous environment of The Performance Bar, participants will animate 3D-modelled, digital characters through the movement of the body as detected by real-time animation software. Each of the six characters the artist has designed based on a series of album covers released by Rotterdam Records, a Dutch gabber and hardcore record label active between 1992-2012. Bringing the characters to life, in the real and virtual, will be a two-hour live gabber set.
This activity is open to all levels of experience. Once finished, feel encouraged to stay on at The Performance Bar, for their opening night of the new cultural season. Website
