On Collective Care & Togetherness

On Collective Care & Togetherness envisions lasting infrastructures of care and wants to explore the ways in which we can create and sustain communities of care, joy, and connection. Covid-19 and the recent global protests against anti-Black racism laid bare intertwined structures of inequality. The social and political landscape and the ongoing failures of capitalism prompted the urgency to create, organize, and intervene outside governmental infrastructures to create lasting forms of solidarity. Awareness of on-and offline support networks and the importance of (pre-existing and new) community initiatives has enlarged. In order to imagine a more just world new strategies and ways of being together need to be envisioned, where marginalized voices should be at the forefront. More info
