REPAIR
Repair takes place in a tv studio during repetitions for a talk show. The director, guests and musicians play out a script based on spontaneous events, conversations and educational tv shows. The starting point of the performance is a character called the ‘joykiller’, a feminist concept coined by Sara Ahmed to indicate a person not living according to conventions that should lead to happiness and satisfaction. By doing this, a joykiller opens the door to new possibilities. Angelica Falkeling wrote the script and performs it together with Ash Kilmartin.
