Rotterdam Cultural Histories #25: 25 Years of Tubelight
This edition of Rotterdam Cultural Histories celebrates the 25th anniversary of Tubelight with an anniversary exhibition. The roots of Tubelight can be found at number 53 Witte de Withstraat, directly across from TENT and Kunstinstituut Melly. Once upon a time, MK Galerie was located here. The gallery owners, Emmo Grofsmid and Karmin Kartowikromo, along with co-initiator Antoine Achten, started an experimental review magazine back in 1998. This small initiative grew over the years into a launching pad for emerging writers, editors, and designers. More info
