Self-portraits of Delfshaven
Armed with XXL furniture, permanent markers, pens and paper, visual artist Hans Bossmann, theatre maker Brecht Hermans and actors from Theater Babel Rotterdam made a tour through Delfshaven from the 16th of April until the 12th of May. They pulled over at 15 meeting places (Zelfregiehuis, Buurtsteunpunt, Huis van de wijk De Put, Post West…) to draw with inhabitants and visitors on the XXL furniture and to exchange stories about themselves, the places and the neighborhood. This resulted in extraordinary inclusive encounters between Theater Babel, our actors and organizations and inhabitants in the neighborhood.
